The Lake Charles Linux Users Group
The LC-LUG meets regularly on the third Saturday of each month in the ACC lab in Kirkman Hall on the McNeese campus. Meetings are announced through the mailing list.
The Lake Charles Linux Users Group (LC-LUG) was established in 2001 to provide support for Linux and open source software in Southwest Louisiana. The LUG represents a user-to-user community to provide assistance to Linux users of all levels of experience.
Our regular meetings are held in Kirkman Hall on the McNeese Campus. The meetings are informal and designed to allow members and guests to bring their computers, ask questions, or just hang out. The doors open at 11a and we generally finish up around 4p. McNeese State University has been kind enough to provide us with meeting facilities over the years and because meetings are held in the computer lab, no food will be allowed. Small children are welcome but if they are left unattended they will be given sugar and a puppy.
If you are interested in participating in LC-LUG activities, we recommend you join our mailing list.
